Let This Grieving Soul Retire Cour 2 New Key Visual, Trailer, Theme Songs, Premiere 6th October, 2025

Let This Grieving Soul Retire (Japanese: Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai, lit. "The Grieving Ghost Wants to Retire") has released a new promotional video for its second cour, which is set to begin airing on TV from 6th October, 2025. Episodes will release 2 days early on "ABEMA" and "d Anime Store" from 4th October, 2025[1].

The new promotional video previews the opening and ending theme songs for the upcoming cour. The opening theme, "Algorithm"[2], is performed by Kiyono Yasuno, and the ending theme, "Yume no Hitokakera"[3] is performed by i☆Ris.

Story: Six childhood friends make a vow one day to become treasure hunters, and eventually grow to be the strongest heroes in the world. During his first quest, Krai Andrey realizes he isn’t cut out for the job. Even so, his friends make him their leader. Underpowered in the face of great expectations, Krai embarks on a reluctant hero’s tale of glory, headaches, and wanting to retire early.[4]
