Kusunoki's Garden of Gods Anime Reveals Casting for Yamagami

Kusunoki's Garden of Gods (Japanese: Kami no Niwa-tsuki Kusunoki-tei, lit. "The Kusunoki Residence with a Garden of Gods") tv anime adaptation has revealed the voice actor for the mountain god, Yamagami will be voiced by Shinshu Fuji^[1].

Alongside the casting announcement, a new character promotional video featuring Yamagami's voice and new character visuals were also released. Furthermore, a special stage event for the anime will be held at the Animate Girls Festival 2025 on 9th November, 2025^[2]. The event will feature both Shinshu Fuji (voice of Yamagami) and Shougo Sakata (voice of Minato Kusunoki).

The anime adaptation first announced on 14th July, 2025, is scheduled to premiere in 2026.

Story: Deep in the countryside, Minato Kusunoki is left in charge of a terrifying house overflowing with evil spirits—or at least it was, until his extraordinary ability cleared them all out! Instead, a procession of unique and peculiar gods is drawn to the comfort of the purified Kusunoki residence, and Minato spends his days relaxing in the company of his spiritual neighbors.
