Ranma 1-2 Season 2 New Visual, Trailer

Ranma 1/2 season 2 has unveiled a new promotional video and key visual for its upcoming second season. This season is set to premiere on the 4th of October, 2025, and will stream exclusively on Netflix.

The new trailer previews the opening theme song "Wo Ai Ni" by Wednesday Campanella. The ending theme will be "Panda Girl" by Nishina.

The anime is a new adaptation of the manga series by Takahashi Rumiko. The original manga was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday from August 1987 to March 1996, with its chapters collected into 38 volumes. Studio Deen previously produced an anime adaptation which ran for 161 episodes from 1989 to 1992, along with several OVAs and films.

Story: After a training journey in China goes wrong, martial artist Saotome Ranma and his father Genma find themselves cursed. Ranma now turns into a girl when splashed with cold water, and his father becomes a panda! This complicates things at the Tendo dojo, where Soun Tendo intends to arrange a marriage between Ranma and one of his three daughters. The chosen fiancée, the spirited Akane, and Ranma are not keen on the arrangement, setting the stage for a chaotic martial arts romantic comedy.
