Wash It All Away TV Anime Reveals New Teaser & January 2026 Premiere

Wash It All Away (Japanese: Kirei ni Shitemoraemasu ka.) anime adaptation has released its first teaser on 17th September, 2025. This new promotional video confirms that the series is scheduled to premiere in January 2026 and features the voice of the protagonist, Wakana Kinme, who will be played by Suzushiro Sayumi.

The primary staff members for the production have also been announced:

The anime is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Hattori Mitsuru. It was serialized in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine from July 2017 to June 2023. Square Enix is also publishing the manga in English.

Story: For two years, Wakana Kinme has run a laundry service in the seaside resort town of Atami. Kinme Cleaning is a well-loved business, and Atami residents admire Wakana's devotion to her trade. She builds a fulfilling life making friends with the locals and visiting hot springs. Although Wakana has no knowledge of her own past, her cleaning services safeguard memories imbued in customers' precious items.^[1]
